原子物理学是物理学(师范)专业的一门重要基础课程,其上承传统经典物理概念,下接现代量子力学知识,属于近代物理的理论范畴。原子物理学采用了普通物理的描述风格,讲述量子物理的基本概念和物理图像,以及支配物质运动和变化的基本相互作用,并在此基础上讨论物质结构在原子、原子核以及基本粒子等层次的性质、特点和规律。使学生通过以原子结构为中心,以实验事实为线索,了解原子和原子核层次的物质结构及运动和变化规律,揭示宏观现象与规律的本质;学习相关问题所需要的量子力学基本概念,掌握物质微观结构三个层次的物理过程、研究方法,培养创新思维;对物质世界有更深入的认识,获得在本课程领域内分析和处理一些最基本问题的初步能力。
Atomic physics is an important fundamental course for physics majors and engineering students who have already completed an introductory calculus-based physics course. The contents of this course may be subdivided into two broad categories: an introduction to the theories of quantum physics and applications of elementary quantum theory to atom, molecular, solid-state, nuclear, and particle physics。
Our basic objectives in this course are threefold:
(1)To provide simple, clear, and mathematically uncomplicated explanations of physical concepts and theories of modern physics.
(2)To clarify and show support for these theories through a broad range of current applications and examples. In this regard, we have attempted to answer questions, such as: The spectrum of hydrogens and their energy level? What is the atomic effective magnetic moment? How to explain the fine structure and Zeeman effects? What is the X-ray? How to arrange the electrons in atom?
(3)To enliven and humanize the text with brief sketches of the historical development of 20th century physics, including anecdotes and quotations from the key figures as well as interesting photographs of noted scientists and original apparatus.

二、本课程共48个学时,3学分。
三、本课程配套线下教材为《原子物理学》。
四、教学计划如下:
(1) 第1至4章:量子物理基础理论。
(2) 第5至8章:原子的基本结构。
(3) 第9至10章:应用和推广。
五、授课方式介绍
线上、线下相结合。
六、成绩评价:采用过程性评价与终结性评价相结合的线上评价体系;
成绩是以“视频观看时长、完成作业、测试、考试及论坛发帖”之成绩为计算依据,分数占比如下:
(1)视频观看 占 40%
(2)作业成绩 占 15%
(3)测验成绩 占 15%
(4)考试成绩 占 20%
(5)发帖讨论成绩 占 10%
