这门课会讲什么?

该课程以英语语言知识与应用技能、跨文化交际和学习策略为主要内容,每个单元学习内容分为单元导入、篇章结构分析、语言点等模块。模块下的知识细化,通过运用任务型教学法、情境教学法、头脑风暴法等教学方法组织教学,加强师生交流互动,提高学生学习参与度。课程各个单元题目设计针对性强,所选篇章紧扣时代热门话题,贴近学生生活(如旅游、环境保护、男女平等、中西文化差异等)。围绕各单元展开的主题教学中,教师着力从文化背景、体裁、结构、词汇等角度进行讲解,以期提高学习者的英语综合能力。

 1. 阅读理解能力:能基本读懂公开发表的英语报刊上一般性题材的文章;能阅读与所学专业相关的综述性文献或与未来工作相关的说明书、操作手册等材料,理解中心大意、关键信息、文章的篇章结构和隐含意义等;能较好地运用快速阅读技巧阅读篇幅较长、难度中等的材料;能较好地运用常用的阅读策略。

2. 书面表达能力:能用英语就一般性的主题表达个人观点,语言表达内容完整,观点明确,条理清楚,语句通顺;能较好地运用常用的书面表达与交流技巧。
