Pharmacology is a discipline that studies the rules and principles of the interaction between drugs and the body (including pathogens). The main research contents include pharmacokinetics and pharmacokinetics. Pharmacology, based on physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and pathology, is a bridging subject that guides rational clinical drug use, disease prevention and treatment, and provides theoretical and experimental basis for the evaluation of effectiveness and safety of drugs in the research and development of new drugs. Its mission is to clarify the mechanism of drug action, improve drug quality (improve efficacy, reduce toxicity), develop new drugs, discover new uses of drug action, and explore the physiological, biochemical and pathological processes of cells. Through the study of pharmacology, students can master the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills of the course, and acquire the training of basic qualities, including learning ability, comprehensive ability of scientific analysis and scientific thinking methods and abilities, as well as clinical thinking ability of recommending drugsto patients.
